1st Vice President Joan Ernst guided our team in the GFWC – Mt. Diablo project, “Stars For Our Troops.”

We wrote 80 heartfelt notes for veterans, each accompanied

by a star cut out from a retired flag.

We also learned that veterans at Livermore VA enjoy Costco hot dog lunches, so our generous club members donated $500 in Costco gift cards to brighten their day.

On November 7th, we had the joy of delivering a basket filled with note cards, gift cards, and books

to the VA Hospital in Livermore.

Our efforts help ensure these veterans

 know how valued they are.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!

Let’s honor our veterans this Veterans Day, November 11th, by displaying our American flags in support and gratitude.

In recognition of October Breast Cancer Month our members and friends are encouraged to a local nonprofit organization, the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation. Donations given provide women garments, lymphedema support, wigs, prosthesis and more. Your generous contribution will fund these basic needs.

to transitional housing.

Tri-Valley Haven.
